Genie Cherrypicker Hire of West Wickham
Despite strenuous efforts to lower the toll, falls from height remain among the most common causes of death and major injury for workers in the construction industry.
Although the variety of injuries has actually fallen significantly over the last 20 years or two, building remains a high-risk industry. There were 50 fatal injuries in the construction trade in 2011. And although building work accounts for only about 5 percent of the British work-force, it still makes up 27 percent of deadly injuries and 9 per cent of major injuries.
Clearly, making sure you have a really safe working platform is important when working at height. Your life may depend on the quality of the cherry picker that you employ.
