Genie Cherrypicker Hire of Surbiton
In spite of laborious efforts to reduce the toll, falls from height continue to be one of the most common causes of death and major injury for employees in the building market.
The number of injuries has fallen considerably over the last 20 years or so, however building continues to be a high-risk market. There were 50 deadly injuries in the construction trade in 2011. And although construction work makes up just about 5 percent of the British work-force, it still represents 27 per cent of deadly injuries and 9 per cent of significant injuries.
Clearly, seeing to it that you have an entirely safe working platform is vital when working at height. Your life might depend upon the quality of the cherry picker that you use.
