Genie Cherrypicker Hire of Hampton Hill
Despite laborious efforts to reduce the toll, falls from height are still among the most common causes of death and major injury for workers in the building market.
The number of injuries has fallen substantially over the last 20 years or so, however building stays a high-risk market. There were 50 fatal injuries in the building trade in 2011. And although building work represents only about 5 percent of the British work-force, it still makes up 27 percent of fatal injuries and nine percent of major injuries.
Obviously, making certain you have an entirely safe working platform is essential when working at height. Your life may depend upon the quality of the cherry picker that you use.
