Genie Cherrypicker Hire of West Drayton
In spite of strenuous efforts to lower the toll, falls from height are still among the most typical causes of death and major injury for employees in the construction industry.
The number of injuries has actually fallen significantly over the last 20 years or so, however building continues to be a high-risk industry. There were 50 deadly injuries in the construction trade in 2011. And although construction work makes up just about five per cent of the British work-force, it still represents 27 per cent of fatal injuries and nine percent of significant injuries.
Obviously, making sure you have a truly safe working platform is crucial when working at height. Your life might depend on the quality of the cherry picker that you use.
