Genie Cherrypicker Hire of Thornton Heath
In spite of laborious efforts to minimize the toll, falls from height continue to be one of the most common causes of death and major injury for workers in the construction industry.
Although the number of injuries has actually fallen significantly over the last twenty years or so, building stays a high-risk industry. There were 50 fatal injuries in the construction trade in 2011. And although construction work accounts for only about 5 percent of the British work-force, it still accounts for 27 per cent of deadly injuries and nine per cent of major injuries.
Obviously, ensuring you have a truly safe working platform is crucial when working at height. Your life may depend upon the quality of the cherry picker that you employ.
