In spite of exhausting efforts to decrease the toll, falls from height remain one of the most typical causes of death and significant injury for employees in the building industry.
Although the number of injuries has actually fallen significantly over the last twenty years approximately, building stays a high-risk industry. There were 50 fatal injuries in the construction trade in 2011. And although construction work accounts for only about five per cent of the British work-force, it still represents 27 per cent of deadly injuries and 9 per cent of significant injuries.
Obviously, making certain you have a really safe working platform is crucial when working at height. Your life might depend upon the quality of the cherry picker that you employ.
