Regardless of laborious efforts to decrease the toll, falls from height remain one of the most common causes of death and major injury for employees in the construction market.
Although the variety of injuries has fallen substantially over the last twenty years approximately, construction stays a high-risk market. There were 50 fatal injuries in the construction trade in 2011. And although building work accounts for only about five percent of the British work-force, it still represents 27 percent of deadly injuries and 9 percent of major injuries.
Obviously, seeing to it that you have a truly safe working platform is essential when working at height. Your life may depend upon the quality of the cherry picker that you employ.
