Genie Cherrypicker Hire of Downham
Despite strenuous efforts to lower the toll, falls from height remain one of the most typical causes of death and major injury for employees in the construction industry.
The number of injuries has actually fallen substantially over the last 20 years or so, however construction continues to be a high-risk market. There were 50 deadly injuries in the building trade in 2011. And although building work makes up just about 5 per cent of the British work-force, it still makes up 27 per cent of fatal injuries and nine percent of significant injuries.
Obviously, making sure you have a truly safe working platform is crucial when working at height. Your life might depend on the quality of the cherry picker that you work with.
