Genie Cherrypicker Hire of Alperton
In spite of strenuous efforts to lower the toll, falls from height remain one of the most common causes of death and major injury for employees in the construction market.
The number of injuries has fallen substantially over the last 20 years or so, however construction remains a high-risk industry. There were 50 fatal injuries in the construction trade in 2011. And although construction work represents only about five percent of the British work-force, it still represents 27 per cent of deadly injuries and 9 percent of significant injuries.
Obviously, making sure you have a truly safe working platform is essential when working at height. Your life might depend upon the quality of the cherry picker that you work with.
