Genie Cherrypicker Hire of Denham
In spite of strenuous efforts to lower the toll, falls from height are still among the most common causes of death and major injury for workers in the construction industry.
The number of injuries has actually fallen substantially over the last 20 years or so, however building stays a high-risk industry. There were 50 fatal injuries in the building trade in 2011. And although building work represents only about five per cent of the British work-force, it still represents 27 per cent of deadly injuries and nine percent of significant injuries.
Obviously, ensuring you have a really safe working platform is important when working at height. Your life might depend on the quality of the cherry picker that you use.
